Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies Cole uses, why, and how you can control them.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. They allow the application to remember information about your visit — such as your login session — between page loads or return visits.
Cole also uses similar technologies including local storage and session storage within our web and mobile applications.
2. Cookies We Use
| Cookie type | Purpose | Can you opt out? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication tokens to keep you logged in. Session management. Security tokens to prevent CSRF attacks. These are essential for the Platform to function. | No — required for the Platform to work |
| Functional | Your preferences (e.g. dark/light mode if offered). Your last-viewed section. Form state retention. | No — required for a functional experience |
| Analytics | Usage patterns, feature adoption, error tracking. Used to improve the Platform. Data is anonymised before analysis. | Yes — via cookie preferences |
| Advertising | Cole does not use advertising cookies. | N/A |
3. Third-Party Cookies
The following third parties may set cookies in connection with your use of the Platform:
- Stripe: Payment processing cookies when you use the payment features
- Analytics provider: Where analytics are enabled
These third parties have their own privacy policies governing their use of cookies.
4. Managing Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie settings panel accessible from the Platform footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Note that refusing essential cookies will prevent the Platform from functioning correctly.
For mobile applications, you can control device permissions (including storage) through your device settings.
